English Heritage

As we wave goodbye to the seaside frivolities of the Mermaid Parade, we doff our hats to the less outlandish (but no less exciting) trend of English Heritage. Our in-store displays have been transformed into the stylish surrounds of the British countryside, embracing and celebrating the great outdoors and all its accompanying sartorial delights. The key here is plaid, floral patterns and earthy tones of browns, beige, grey and cream  with blouses, knits, skirts, scarves and flat caps as the stand-out pieces.

Despite Julys reticence to shine, our visual merchandisers havent forgotten what month were in and theyve kept this traditionally autumnal look of refinement sexy and summery with shorts, hot-pants, short dresses and sunglasses. And with most music-lovers sleeping in a field at some point this season, weve also made the look festival-friendly with wellies, trench coats, cowichans and summer hats. This is a trend that marries the quaint with the edgy to create a look both traditional and modern in its celebration of English eccentricity, and we absolutely love it! Come in-store to see for yourselves and keep an eye out for our guide on how to get the look online.
