The Curve Expo held at the Venetian Hotel in Las Vegas was a success from a buyer’s point of view. I was impressed, it improved a 100%. I have not visited he show for several years. The show used to be slow and not very exciting. This time the show was buzzing this excitement and visitors, I was pleasantly surprised.

Many French lingerie manufacturers presented their merchandise.

I paid special attention to some of my favorites, such as Oh La La Cheri. They sell high quality lingerie, as well as a sexy less expensive line. Their US branch is based out of Miami, and Sarah Konkel the Account Executive does an excellent job representing the company in the US.

It’s a huge no-no to show up anywhere during Fashion Week less than chic. It is Fashion Week, after all! Between Grammy events and the many fashion shows abound in New York this past week, it’s no wonder we have so many chic hairstyles to share! As if the orange eyeshadow thing wasn’t scary enough. At New York Fashion Week, I noticed a second eyeshadow trend—one that’s been brewing for a while now, if you’ve been paying attention. (Hint: We saw inklings of it at Chanel, Giorgio Armani and Oscar de la Renta for S/S ’11.)

What I’m talking about is not the colour but the placement of it, which is all the way around the eyes AND all the way up to the brows.

London Fashion Week’s in full swing and already we’ve spotted tights available from Tights Please on some of the best catwalks!

Despite the late start, which caused the editor of Harpers Bazaar, Lucy Yeoman, and Chairman of the British Fashion Council, Harold Tillman walk out, (Hilary Alexander also got up to leave, but was convinced to stay by Temperley.) it was an incredible show. Accessorised with the Wolford Rebecca Tights.

Equally as fabulous but less of a house-hold name, Clements Ribeiro, sent his models down in show stopping Wolford Sousan Tights!
